Was that under the original Cameron Hughes label?

deNegoce before Hughes left.

Speaking of Boom Boom, I saw Bevan 2019 ontogeny at Costco in nor cal for $75 recently. I bought a case 2 years ago for >$100/bottle, hadn’t tried one yet.

Which Costco? This makes me want to open one tonight and go shopping tomorrow.

It does say something about the industry when a wine named “The Best Napa Cab under $100” and 98 points from JD is still kicking around.

Both Caterwaul and L’Envolee raised their prices after making this list a couple years ago.

I saw it at a couple places.
Costco on Raleigh in south san jose had it a couple weeks ago. Then i saw it at mountainview Costco this week. Best to call around with the item # shown in the picture. They usually will look around the area for stock if they don’t have it.
People do this for allocation bourbon.

Seems like there is wine depreciation.
And CAM X is the final endpoint of that.
Us early adopters benefit the most.

Thanks. I had been using the other link until yesterday, it appears.

Thanks, didn’t realize you could do a stock check at Costco.

new sampler just came in!

prices add up to just a dollar or two below original price. Which is lower than they are now. So if sampling seems right for you, the price is good.

If you are on the Bevan mailing list he was selling these direct for $75 along with some other “higher end” bottlings in the last few weeks as a year end sale.

Just had the strangest experience with UPS. I have had a UPS My Choice premium account for a few years and they have always been excellent. Recently 3 Cam X orders that I had changed delivery for were expected to be delivered this week. Instead, UPS informed me that they were returned to the sender. In the tracking information everything reflects the new delivery date until a late tracking entry that it shows that there was a “sorting error” just before the entry that shows it was returned to sender. Has anyone else experienced this?
Cam, have you had other orders like mine returned?

I haven’t had returned but I did ask for delivery on a different day a couple times this year and they acknowledged it…and 100% disregarded it. It does seem a bit sloppier this year than it was a year ago.

Ahem, “drop, shipper” :frowning:

David’s too cowardly to show his face in this thread anymore, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped his shitposting:

OK, second strange thing this week with Cam X. Just today, my Norton antivirus program blocked access to the Cam X website I’d been a frequent visitor to. Norton claims it is a malicious website and could be a fake online store. Could it be that someone submitted a false report on the site?
