I think that in order to “visit the mountain” and taste the own rooted, you should have to volunteer to help Ketan pack and ship all of the orders twice a year. Seems fair and solves all the fulfillment problems.
Received my shipment (with no notice that it shipped) in South Florida yesterday. Perfect timing with the break in weather down here

Or perhaps he could bump you up into the Jasud area on the allocation list for said rendered services…
I like that it’s still uber simple, no fat bottles, ornamental label, etc.
Well done and bravo for keeping the price about what’s in the bottle.
I thought it was grown and produced in Napa Valley, not Sonoma, and the front label says Napa, but the back says Sonoma. Can anyone explain how this is accurate?
I think it’s referencing the “bottled” portion being in Sonoma. Could be wrong.
What was the “surprise”?
That the real treasure was all the friends we made along the way.
Spent a few days in Burgundy with Ketan. He said he is more inspired / driven than ever to continue what he is doing, especially on the farming side which he said after discussing farming in Burgundy with the likes of Charles Lauchaux and others it confirmed that he is on the right path.
Here he is tasting 2023 Mugnier Musigny.
Maybe lives in Sonoma, so business is there. Do the vineyards have any structures?
He is currently building a winery on the property. The wine is bottled in Sonoma.
It’s pretty common all over to have the winery location on the label under their name. The Boillot Batard doesn’t come from Meursault, that’s just where the company/winery are located.
Honestly, I visited Ketan at the vineyard and since he seems to have the ability to do everything himself (or with a little help) (e.g., as far as I’m aware, he cleared the land, planted the vines, built his house, etc.), I guess I just assumed the winery was somewhere on that property as well. Thanks for the clarification, guys.
So he is the Bill Brasky of wine. Sounds like a cool dude.
Got mine too. Also love the “normal” bottle. Tired of the heavy, non-stackable, non-rackable bottles that too many seem to use.
Huge fan of the label. Got mine in today
Now hands off til at least, like, 2031 or 2036 if I can manage
