Not only is it common to have winery location named, it’s a TTB requirement for all labels/producers.

Well that seems like a good time! I love Mugnier and starting to feel the same about Ketan’s Beta.

so who’s opening one?

I’m not sure what was meant by the surprise but mine came yesterday and was the three bottles and the shipping container. I’m still quite happy to receive the bottles. I like you was wondering about what the surprise would be.

Not a chance in this decade.

My 21 Jasud bottles were boxed with my 21 Bordeaux bottles yesterday; so I would give them at least another 12 years or so before I open that case and even think about drinking them.

I had a bottle with Ketan last week. I would wait a long time it is really, really tight. The bottle had traveled from Napa to NYC to Austria to Beaune and it was pop and pour.

In close up, I am intrigued by the font in which Jasud is written. There seems to be something extra going on there.

I like the regular straight-sided Bordeaux bottle, ribbed paper, and font.

This wine is off the charts. Pop’d one way to early but damn this wine is incredible and I would put it H2H with any other Batard.

Aren’t you going to mention that Johannes visited Ketan on the Mountain! And MacDonald!

When I visited Ketan, we started off with a '21 Falkenstein Riesling Kabinett Trocken. Great start to an incredible visit.
