HN Chambolle and Vosne are right about the $100 mark.

Lafougeās reds in Auxey
Audoin reds, Marsannay. I like the Favieres best, but many good options
Berthaut-Gerbet Fixins (delicious, on the hedonistic side)
Gelin Fixins
Just over at ~ US$125 on release:
I second @Dinesh_Goyal with Fourrier Gevrey vv
White (these are Chablis, but many other decent whites mentioned already)
Pattes Loup Vents Ange
Fevre
Jean Claude Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet rouge.
Airy, succulent, crunchy, red fruited.
A few more
Rossignol-Trapet Gevrey Chambertin VV
Lafarge Volnay VS
Clerget Volnay
Alex Moreau Chassagne Montrachet
Just off the top of my head, I donāt think anyone has mentioned these yet:
DurochƩ
Latour-Giraud
Tribut
I was happy with Simon Bize until the wine style changed a bit. The whites were fantastic, but have moved a bit more oxidative in style⦠The reds have remained quite good, but still not as nice as older vintages.
Donāt actually have much experience with the whites, as Iāve mostly reached for Simon Bize reds. I think the reds now are drinking much better young as they have in the past, but maybe not quite as complex. Such is Burgundy these days ![]()
Henri Gouges is top notch. The price of the SVDs have gone through the roof though and I hope the entry level wine stays in the $60-$80 range, but I have my doubts.
Probably a good idea to also mention whether the price is retail or allocation. Maybe irrelevant to many here with their own businesses getting these cheap allocations but for a private individual some of these prices donāt make sense. How are you finding these bottles sub-100$ in US when they sit comfortably in 150-175 range in Europe? Retail, of course.
Not sure how helpful it is to mention that certain bottles are 4 times cheaper on release than secondary market.
From more poor Eastern European perspective, these would be my picks:
Arlaud MSD or GC.
Georges Noellat VR or NSG but just below or at $100.
Vincent Girardin Volnay.
Paul Pilot CM reds.
Sigaut CM. Can even find some 1ers in this range.
