Not sure I should offer my opinion having so little experience, but Benjamin Lerouxâ village offerings might be worth a look? His Gevrey-Chambertin is still <70usd here for the 2019 and was excellent I thought.
Benjamin Leroux is a great pick! Thatâs the beauty of a forum like this, we can all learn from each other. Thanks for your input!
Savigny-Les-Beaune Premier Crus from Pavelot and Bize are well under $100.
Hard to find but Caroline Morey, rouge, are still well under $100.

Reds from Bernard Moreau
Yvon Clerget Volnay
Lafarge Volnay Vendanges Selectionnees
Rossignol-Trapet
Pierre Amiot

Armand Heitz Clos des Poutures
Chandon des Briailles
White:
Bernard Moreau
Armand Heitz
Christian Moreau
Moreau Naudet
Buisson-Charles
There are too many to mention as evidenced by this thread. Wait a few yearsâŚ
The list would be much shorter if the price point was $50 or $60.
Iâd add Paul (Thierry) Pillot CM reds to the listâŚ
No mention of Fornerol? Pshhhh
If you love reductive whites, Didier Fornerolâs whites are solid ![]()
I know you have a lot of experience, but quite surprised by this - I like the recent ones in good vintages, but wouldnât put them on my list of âbestâ producers under 100$. Care to expand a little bit?
Setting yourself a $100 limit for village Burgundy is definitely bargain hunting on the easy settingâŚeven for Burgundy
Fine, for you itâs sub $50 ![]()
