Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

Use code WELCOMEAPP20 for 20% off at WineAccess.com. If you’re a new user of WineAccess, PM me for a $50 off coupon we can both use, although I’ve learned some folks feel adverse to the mutual deal posts. Drop a :poop: or a :+1:. If :poop: wins, I’ll delete it. Just trying to read the room…
I’ve never shit on anyone on WB, and didn’t see a problem with my original, but with two :poop:responses to my initial post, I got the message that there are other opinions here. Maybe it is unsavory…

I might suggest caution, the terms say you’re not supposed to share special offers on capital one shopping. I got the same message though so I think if anyone downloads the browser extension and clicks through to wineaccess they can generate a similar offer on their account

Wineaccess.com has a current $50 off $200 deal. Free shipping at $150 too, so this is a good deal if you see something you like at a fair pre-discount price.

Pairing this with a current AMEX promotion of $30 off a $100 purchase, if you have it, makes this even more attractive.

Finally, in my case, I had an additional $50 credit on my account from something I don’t remember so actually I hit the ‘trifecta’. I bought two bottles of 750 ml NV Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé Champagne for a delivered price of net $36.98 per bottle.

Same.

The $50 off $200 appeared in a banner on the top of the home page and was automatically applied to an order of $200 or more. I assumed that it was an offer to everyone, but it seems like it may have been targeted. Sorry.

At check out there would be a promo code entered, probably auto populated in your case. Not sure if you are able to see it after the fact. Probably not.

Nice score. I had 2 of those in my cart and was seeing what best price i could get.

I went back online and looked at my order record. It does not show any promo code as such, but does display that its $50 off $200.

P. S. Please don’t give me the poop emoji, I actually thought tthe discount was for everyone.:wine_glass:

Just opened the wdc app for the first time in a long time, and I see they’re still pushing codes. Except now it’s $10 off $300.

I wonder if at some point seeing drop in sales volume they will reintroduce more appealing coupons.
Meanwhile I cancelled my membership and don’t even look at the site. I still have few 2022 BDX to be delivered in October.

Uncork30 (30/150) is still available

40% off remaining inventory.

I understand that Wine Library has bad reputation here. But I have been using it for few years now and have taken advantage of excellent deals. They have monthly “last shot” sale that you can get great wines at very competitive prices. If you subscribed to their Winetext you get notification the day this sale takes place. I pay $100 for library pass free shipping that definitely pays off.

Does Wine Library have a bad reputation here? My own experience is that they used to be pretty good back in the Gary V days, but in recent years their selection has significantly dwindled. I never had a bad experience, they just stopped having much that interested me.

I recall few posts where people complained that as you said their selection was not good anymore and them pushing subpar wines into the GarryVee monthly wine club. I cannot comment on the latter but I manage to find good wines at very good prices during monthly sales.

Gotcha. I wasn’t sure if you meant something like shipping errors, difficult customer support, the kind of thing that generally earns a “bad reputation” around here. When I’ve looked, and its been awhile, they’ve had some things of interest, just not enough for me to really keep them on my radar.

This IGT blend is just incredible. The price is already low compared to the lowest price on WS. During monthly sale it is sold for $50

Wine Library is associated with Wine Text and I have found some slammin deals there recently.

Have not bought from Wine Library in two years probably.

I wouldn’t say Wine Library has a bad rep per se. It just became less and less part of the conversation here as the selection isn’t as strong or exciting as when GV was more actively involved and knowledgeable longtime board members like Ian Dorin were still there.
