Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

I don’t think it’s item-dependent but you need at least $250 in your cart for it to work.

I got the same as Manny, “you do not meet the requirements to redeem”. Curious, what did you buy?

The fine print on the 923FIFTY coupon at WDC . Not all customers are eligible for this, even if you normally get emails from them. I am not eligible to use. Bummer***. ***

Damn, no ketchup!

A mixed bag of Enfield. Interestingly, I don’t even get WDC emails. I did see the code on the homepage banner.

After multiple unsuccessful tries, 923FIFTY finally worked for me. Keep trying, folks if you are interested

A CS rep offered to apply the code after purchase for me, too.

The way it worked for me is to have a space after the code… :man_shrugging:

Funny… adding the space worked for me also.

I spent an hour trying to fit the square peg bottle prices into the circular $250 total… would think I’d cracked the code, and then would check my work on Wine-Searcher to find they weren’t really deals even with discount.

The afore referenced motto of “there are good WDC deals on recent Bordeaux” entered my mind, only for me to remember that InternetWines dot com has better prices and selection to start with.

TLDR - I started with a $250 code on WDC, and the only purchase I made was over twice that on InternetWines , which was better value even with shipping and taxes added.

I purchased 2019 Giscours for less than $42 per bottle with the $50 off $250 code and cashback. Internetwines is $45 per bottle plus shipping, so about $50 per bottle. Great deal with either retailer.

They had very good deals on the 19 Bordeaux earlier in the year when they got a lot of stock in, but it’s been slim pickings for me for a long time. I haven’t bought anything in months and am hoping there are some OK deals to be found on 20 Bordeaux when they arrive.

I actually had the Giscours in my WDC cart once I found the correct warehouse between KS/MO . I’ve stopped counting the cash back as part of the price per bottle, though, due to the unreliability. Great price regardless of the cash back, though!

This did the trick for me too.

WDC orders are now shipping with one-time use 50/300 and 30/200s. In other words, unlimited codes!!

10% Rakuten; 12% Cap One at WDC

Rakuten is showing 2% for me

I’m still getting 16% CapOne targeted offer.

However, my stewardship has expired, and I don’t see myself renewing. Now it’s $69 fee with minimum $49 purchase for free shipping. I can no longer buy a $12 bottle just to burn $10 Amex Gold monthly credit anymore. :person_shrugging:

Also poor inventory, consistently 30% over-the-market pricing, and flaky cash back sites, just made it no longer appealing.

I received targeted 16% email on on Capital One but for the first time noticed when I clicked through it said try codes OR use cash back offer.

The 16% on mine says it’s for first-time customers only; everyone else gets 12%.

Yeah I decided to take the 16% for a spin with a purchase today using the 50/250 coupon. Going to see if the rewards are recognized when the wine arrives…if not, I’ll assume CapOne is done going forward
