Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

Where does Wine Exchange post online sales? I’ve only ever been able to discover some discounts through posts made here, but their social media isn’t mentioning anything.

I’m buying a gift card in an increment of $100x with the 10% bonus before the month ends (essentially 9.1% off every $110), but I wouldn’t know where they would note a sale like 10% off everything automatically.

No, but they should start their New Year sale tonight (or maybe tomorrow).

The sale timing seems to change every year…

Not wine related, but seemed big enough to share. I spent some time poking around the Ace Hardware website yesterday (presumably on a browser that I gave CapitalOne permission to track) and today I received a 30% Capital One Shopping offer for Ace in my e-mail.

Furthering this point, I’ve received a bunch of Capital One 30% offers on random sites I’ve been. Some items costing in the thousands.

I got cap1 30% offer with TripAdvisor on many eligible hotels a couple weeks ago. Finger cross that they will actually pay me $$$$ after the trip, like they did with wines.

Sorry for the rookie question, but how are you alerted to the offers? Email or?

What I’ve had work for me (at least with WDC) is I place the item in my shopping cart and leave the site. Usually, after a few hours, I’ll receive an email with an offer for the specific item in the cart. That said, I’ve had other random products start getting the same 30% offers.

Just make sure you compare the TripAdvisor (or other intermediary) prices vs. what booking direct might cost. Sometimes non chain hotels have ‘packages’ that they can offer without breaking the GDS contracts, that can be much cheaper than OTA bookings. The packages can be fairly fictional - like including parking, or a vase of roses upon arrival.

I’ve been using capital one for almost everything…you can use the product search in the app and it will give you several options with cashback, sometimes with 35% (Columbia/Finish Line), even in Walmart it gives me 18% once you click on the link you can buy anything at that site…
Today is giving 15% on Wine Access as well (anyone need a referral? )

It says 15% only for new customers. 4% for existing customers.

Capital One tracked my WDC order as -$16.95 (not coincidentally the value of the shipping discount on the order). Anyone have experience with getting them to revise an order total?

I’m not seeing 30% at Capital One anymore for Wine.com. Is anyone else still getting it or have they sunset this promo?

My personal section has dropped to 2.5% for WDC so I’m in the same boat as you. It was one hell of a run.

Looks like all the cashbacks are back to near-zero, guessing the urgency to book '22 revenue is over…

I’m still getting 30% Capital One offers for other (non-wine) merchants, just not Wine.com. It may be that they have merchants on a rotation. Hopefully we’ll see it again one day…

I have a cart, but 50/350 is not compelling. Would pull the trigger with 10-20% cash back though.
