I often use these 20/50 coupons to grab pairs of mid-priced bottles I’m curious about or which have been favorites. I just used Sled & Holly20 to make two $50.98 purchases:

WDC rep just confirmed for me that Holly20 (20/50) expires midnight 12/22.

Do we know expiration on pshop20 or sled?
Sled was stated previously, and on the WDC website, as 12/22. Pshop20 was identified at one point as 12/25 but reported a few posts ago as not working. I haven’t tried it yet.
And just as importantly, will the advent calendar bring us another new one-day 20/50 tomorrow?
Pshop20 worked for me today, I backed out of the purchase tho

WDC doing that weird thing again: last night there was eight or so bottles of JJ Prum across 2016-2019. Good wines. Good prices. Put some in my cart. This morning gone. All gone. You search Prum and you get two random bottles of SA Prum. I guess it’s possible all the JJ Prum sold out since 10pm last night.
But… a bunch of LdH is now back in stock after being gone for a week. It’s like they tease inventory in and out of availability at random.
I think they are just messing with your/our minds, Dennis. It is not random, but part of “a systematic process of intimidation and manipulation”

Thoughts on 2018 Faust Cabernet $52 (Florida warehouse) for 20/50?
CT average value is $47 and auction value is $44. So price wise seems like a good deal. I can’t comment on the wine itself.

I have a feeling that huge dump that happened and then disappeared a few weeks back wasn’t moving around inventory, it was for the new year. They pulled it off so they could try and move existing inventory before EOY with these coupons and will put it back on sometime after Jan 1.
If you like modern style Napa Cab, it’s a good bet with that deal for a weeknight cab you won’t feel guilty popping at that price. There’s noting over the top or super-distinctive about it, but it’s well made.

It’s just your warehouse so unlikely to be part of any purposeful strategy. Here, still plenty of Prum, no change in Lopez.
For those using Raise cards on wdc, here’s an important tip I just noticed, in case you haven’t noticed it - (this is on a PC, not sure how this works using the apps on a phone or tablet)
When you click to reveal the gift card number in your Raise account so you can copy and paste it over on the wdc site, Raise opens and redirects you to a new wdc browser tab. If you are already in the middle of your “shopping trip” to wdc using a cash back portal at that time (at least using the same browser), this will take credit for your visit away from the cash back portal and give it to Raise, likely causing your purchase not to track to the cash back portal and potentially even giving them grounds to deny your cash back claim if you open a case.
To avoid this, either use separate browsers (not just separate browser windows) - one for the portal and wdc, the other for raise - or go to raise first, paste your gift card details into your wdc account, then close all the way out of raise and wdc before going to the cash back portal and starting a new shopping trip from there.
I will add this to my “tutorial” post as well, since I keep linking back to it periodically as FAQs start to get re-asked.

WDC inventory system is weird. On Nov 6, 2020 I bought two bottles of Di Costanzo Farella. There were 4 bottles in stock. Went back the next day to “unavailable” notice. A year later, Dec 2021, the remaining two bottles came back in stock. My guess is they’re doing inventory now, which is why stuff keeps appearing and disappearing. Although odd to do inventory during your busiest time of the year.
Wish WDC would restock spirits more regularly. (Semi relatedly - I’ve also seen more price increases on spirits than on wine)
As usual, Dave is very on top of things. I can confirm this, more by accident than anything else. I recently started using a new browser and have had no problems with RMN showing up properly. I wouldn’t have put two and two together but it makes a lot of sense now.
Remind me: how cold is too cold to ship? Have a cold front heading my way, highs in the 20s and lows in the teens
