I didn’t get that answer as it’s not one that I would feel like dealing with. However you can call them and ask if that might be an option. They were fairly responsive and even willing to put whatever they promised me in an email.
This is the standard TW blurb on their concierge site:
*The price reflected on your order form is subject to change after the order is placed if tariffs or taxes are imposed, or in the case of currency fluctuations of 10% or greater at the time of importation into the U.S. If any changes impact your order, you will be notified and given the option of a full refund for goods not received.
It might be worth pointing out that, once you have credit card info stored for auto-renewal of Stewardship, it’s actually impossible to remove that info from your account (thereby preventing auto-renewal) without either (1) calling wine.com or (2) cancelling your membership before the auto-renewal date. (You can remove c/c info from your account for wine-buying purposes, but that leaves the c/c info for Stewardship renewal intact.)
I can now report an addendum (and correction) to the above note on wine.com’s auto-renewal of StewardShip:
It turns out (assuming my experience today is typical) that, if you have c/c info stored for auto-renewal in your wine.com account’s StewardShip settings, it APPEARS that you can’t remove it, even if you remove all c/c info from your Payment Methods; however, 2 days before your StewardShip is set to auto-renew, they will attempt to renew it, and if no valid c/c info is listed under Payment Methods, the renewal will fail, and they will send you an email asking you to update your payment info, so that they can try to renew it again “in a few days.”
As there has been a dearth of attractive discount codes lately, I think I’ll let mine lapse and start it up again only if and when a decent code shows up.
Thanks. I guess it just never occurred to me that the official way to stop your StewardShip membership from auto-renewing (without canceling your current membership) was to click “Cancel Membership.” Live and learn…

Does rakuten pay cash back when using wdc gift cards? I believe they have for me on a somewhat recent purchase, but would appreciate if others can share if rakuten paid for them consistently when using gift cards.
