Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

I will gladly use it if you dont need it [snort.gif]

Exactly. It is backwards to go and try to find something worth drinking because you have a discount coupon instead of searching out the wine you want and finding the best price for it.

How would that be policed by WDC and/or RMN? I don’t see how they could know, and it doesn’t appear to go against any of RMN terms?

Also, I know this has been broached somewhat recently but futures have been eligible for the cashback by RMN for some people right? I ordered a few 2019 bordeaux futures and they aren’t showing on my RMN account yet even though WDC charges in full for those at the time of purchase.

How long ago did you purchase?

Rakuten, but not RMN, expressly states in their terms that you “may” not receive your cash back if you use a coupon that didn’t come from Rakuten. People here have reported not getting Rakuten cash back when using a 100/300. I’m not aware of anyone being denied RMN cash back for using a 100/300 or any other coupon. Major difference!

RMN has always paid cash back on futures purchases for me, but never automatically. I had to manually submit them via the “contact us” page at RMN. Even non-futures purchases where I asked for delayed shipment to avoid summer weather never showed up automatically until the wine actually shipped, even if that was well after the 45 days.

All the cash back sites say they may not give cash back if you use a promo code that is not provided on their site. In practice RMN has always paid cash back on WDC promos 50 off or below. They don’t pay on 100/300 coupons according to Jin (see post #1 in this thread).

Same here. Thanks

Too bad the trapet train passed, those were good deals

Just as a data point, I have received cash back from RMN on every wine.com purchase I’ve used them for, including a few using 100/300 coupons.

I have used more than 30+ 100/300 coupons last year, none of them able to automatically track the order. But you can contact customer service in 45 days and they will manually add the cash back to your account.

For anyone not watching, pretty substantial dump of 10-20 year old BDX and a few bottles of WV Pinot on WDC today.

what is WDC?

Wow, how were you able to get 30+ of those?

PSA: PW50CQ expires 4/30

Also, RMN currently 12% cashback

A heads up for anyone approaching their WDC Stewardship anniversary who has credit card info stored with them. I just got the following e-mail:

Your StewardShip membership is set to renew in 5 days.
We were unable to find a valid credit card on file so your membership is at risk of lapsing.
To enjoy another year of free shipping, please update your payment information.

Given their IT issues it’s probably not a good idea to have card info stored with them anyway, but if you do and you are not going to want to renew Stewardship, you should probably remove the info so it won’t happen automatically.

FWIW, I haven’t firmly decided yet but I’m leaning toward renewing. I’m not counting on seeing anything like the deals they have offered in the past year, but I still think there’s enough there for me to make Stewardship worthwhile.

I renewed recently. While it’s definitely not the feeding frenzy we had last year, with the coupons combined with RMN I’ve still been able to explore quite a bit of Champagnes and Bordeaux at 20%-40% below best prices elsewhere.

My Wine.com warehouse is still flush with 2019 Rieslings, so keep the coupons coming.

What are you guys using your Total Wine 20% off direct wine on?
