Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

[snort.gif]

Zachy’s has an online coupon for 30 off 100 on in-stock items (sorry, 2008 CDC does not apply). Code ZWINTER30 Combine with an Amex 30 off 150 and you have yourself a deal

If that is your goal, then S/N ratio would be a lot higher if people didn’t waste posts complaining about coupon codes, whether they could use them or not. If you can’t use something, or don’t like it, just leave it be and move on.

Funny you point this out because I was right there with you but then got hit with $50+ shipping. Basically eats up the entire “deal.”

Exited out without purchasing anything.

It’s OK. They had a free shipping on $99 deal this past weekend and I still couldn’t find anything worth getting, even with the Amex 30 off 150.

Winback100NewDemand2020 – I hope this $100 off $300 works for you. It was sent to me by a generous agent at wine.com because a bottle I had requested was not in stock after the order was placed. I hope it’s not a one-time code.

I spent quite a bit at wine.com last year. While their pricing is a bit more than usual, their customer service is top-notch. In the last 30 days, they allowed me $100 off $300 twice. I think I ordered ~50 shipments from them last year – not a single mistake. Very impressed by their execution and customer service. However, I let my Stewardship expire for the moment because there isn’t much there I want to buy right now and because…

…BD12, my first Berserkers Day, took more than half my wine budget. Todd did an excellent job at the offers this year.

Thanks for sharing, but unfortunately not working for me (guessing they can enable it for a specific account).

Amex offering $50 statement credit for a $250 purchase from First Bottle wines. This is for my gold card

Have gotten the same on my Amex Bonvoy card. Are they any promo codes for First Bottle (maybe first time user codes or referrals)? Anybody offering cashback for them?

You can get around the shipping fee for 6 bottles or more so I think there are decent deals to be made when combining Amex with another coupon.

First time user referral for First Bottle. It’s only $10 off, but it is something:

20% off all still wines at Astor. Some good deals with no out-of-state sales tax. They have some 2016 Brovia Rocche left for $84 and, while not a good deal for people who bought it at release, $320 for 2010 Bartolo Mascarello seems like the lowest price we’ll ever see on that wine again.

site is swamped…

Serious. Astor’s site has come to a screeching halt

Here are my picks in the burg section:

2018 Raveneau Butteaux - $232 - Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux," Raveneau | Astor Wines & Spirits
2015 H. Lignier CdlR - $328 - Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Hubert Lignier | Astor Wines & Spirits
2013 Fourrier Combe aux Moines - $140 - Astor Wines & Spirits - Search Error

Your post was appropriate - no worries. If it makes you feel better, way up thread, I posted one of the “lower value” coupons and I was mansplained about it by someone with all of 2 posts in the forum.

I don’t quite understand why someone would bother to take the time out of their day to post that they saw little value in someone else’s post, where it’s obvious the poster is not spamming and genuinely is trying to help other members. If this is YOU, maybe say nothing instead?

Some great deals, thanks for posting. Are you sure there’s no out of state sales tax? I’ve never ordered from them before and when I called, they said they charge NY sales tax to all orders.

Taking forever to check out

Finally. 2008 drc rsv for 1759.

I think the 2015 Lignier cdlr is a very good deal

Exact same here. Those shipping charges are outrageous.

Thanks for the tip, I missed out on both Barolo’s above because of the site being crazy laggy. But I got one of the Lignier CDR. Great deal on that. Now to forget about it for 15-20 years.
