Didn’t work for me on a .99 wine- are they excluded?
Alan, I think the .97 wines are excluded. The .99 wines should work, but maybe there are exceptions. I used the code on some .99 wines just before my post.
There were a few folks upthread that documented having some errors when trying to apply codes on certain .99 wines (Beaucastel CdP comes to mind). Have you tried applying it to other wines?
maybe you have used this code, try other .99 wine and see if it works.

What are you buying from them though? I looked at the entire catalog of 2000/2005/2009/2010 Bordeaux. Everything is priced too high and doesn’t beat wine.com with the $50 off $150 (or $100 off $300).
I just got an email from wine.com - apparently if I download the app and place an order by the 24th, I’ll get $50 off $200. There is no code listed, but I’d imagine I’m not the only one this would work for.
Zachy’s often has excellent Burgundy selections and the occasional sales.
With a little hunting Zachy’s has a solid inventory in many varietals even if the current Bordeaux isn’t to your liking.
I picked up a heap of 2015 Produttori Riservas at around $40ish when they went on sale a week ago. I agree that most of the stuff on their site is overpriced (and that ESSENTIAL15 code only works for full-price items). You just have to wait for the right sales and make sure you use the 20% off new customer coupon (which doesn’t have the same restriction).
