Yes, the K&L price for the box was pretty much spot on 4x the K&L price for a 750, IIRC. The K&L price for the 750, though, may have been different than the mailing list price for a 750.

Anyone who carries Polaner wines should be able to order it. You can ask the big guys (Morrell, Flatiron, any number of others) and they can probably order it. Outside the city reach out to the Wine Store Marlboro and see if they can order some
Kobayashi also did a BiB and not surprisingly, it sold out in a heartbeat.

I think the best part about this release is the lighter glass. I just had to haul both the winter and spring shipments from the pick up into my top floor apartment. It was clear which cases had the new light weight glass in it.

This is so true. Just picked up the last two releases at FedEx and hauled them down to the cellar. Very easy to guess which one has the lighter glass.

No question that Berzerkers love Bedrock, and count me in too. But I don’t feel this is a place for a winery’s announcement of its newest releases.
I appreciate Morgan sharing this info on BiB. Lots of us are interested in quality wine in the format. We’re way behind Europe on this front.

You must be joking. Community member posts the announcement, much excitement ensues. Winemaker chimes in with behind the scenes information, and posts tasting notes before they’re available anywhere else. Comes back later and addresses concerns. There might be more worthy uses for this forum, alright. For me, this one is close to the top.

Ummm… it’s called “marketing”. Why would they not announce here, it’s a target rich environment. I first found out about Bedrock due to this forum.

It is sort of a tradition here for Morgan to post his release letter early. We all, well most of us, look forward to it.
If I remember correctly, members here asked Morgan to post the release info. This goes back years. I hope he continues to post the notes.
