John, thanks for keep this updated!
One that (I think) is missing from the list is 4th & Swift. My info may be dated, but I believe it was $25/bottle with a limit of 2 bottles per table.
Wildfire at Perimter is closing on 12/21 and supposed to reopen as a 2nd location of Capital Grille ($25, often waived).
Updated again. Thanks Chad.
I believe I read a headline that FAB has closed
It has. But the owners are working on a new place in the Ritz Carlton residences.
So my wife wants to go to Nikolai’s Roof for her up-coming b’day. As noted above, corkage is $35, and I believe their list has a high mark-up. Anybody know anyone or any secret password?
Not anymore. Used to be a really great place. Not sure it really has been for a number of years.
When did Bones go to $10? Didn’t it used to be free corkage?
Updated again to reflect recent closings.
I could pick up the phone, but anybody know corkage at One Eared Stag?
Don’t think its on the list on page one here.
Yes, it’s … pick up the phone! (I don’t know actually, and I’m too lazy, too).
Any Atlanta Berserkers going to see Brian at the Loring wine dinner tomorrow night at Valenza? I’ll be there and would love to meet some of y’all.
I did my Brian-appreciation visit last week when Brian Talley came to town.
FWIW, La Tavola will waive corkage if you buy a bottle. They have a few pleasant and inexpensive 1/2 bottles of sparkling wine that are a good way to get started. Not sure if the other Fifth Group restaurants follow that rule.
Hoping the quality remains high now that their chef moved over to Ecco. Early returns have been good.
Anyone have the scoop on Southern Art/Bourbon Bar in the Intercontinental?
Don’t know the corkage policy, but I am in no rush to go back to either the bar or restaurant.
I have to go tomorrow night . . .
Southern Art is $25 per bottle FWIW.
The list has been updated again. Also, was not charged corkage at Southern Art last night.
Went with the family last night to Little Szechuan. This place is an enigma to me. Their food is wonderful, but you would expect the standard “order by number” Chinese food from the decor and its strip-mall location. Service ranges from spotty to downright hostile. They keep banners up like “Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in America - 2006.” They’ve also shown up on Groupon and ScoutMob which I consider to be the death-knell of any restaurant.
Anyway - corkage $10. We brought two bottles, and only got charged once. Glasswear is horrendous.
I haven’t been to Peter Chang’s Tasty China yet – sounds like I need to go.
Jay, it’s no longer Peter Chang’s - he has flown the coop once again. This may be for the better actually, but I still prefer the original location up in Marietta.
