Atlanta

That was actually my last update on Feb 11th.

Was at Woodfire Grill last week.
Corkage is $20.
Not sure how we missed that on the list, but there ya go.

Sotto Sotto $30 per bottle. Ouch.

Updated again to reflect restaurant closings/new places, etc.

Cafe Lapin in Peachtree Battle is no corkage fee.

They even go so far as to mention and encourage on their website, a first for me to see.

I don’t know if there has been a change since, but about a month ago, Peter Chang’s had a sign saying no BYOB, because they are applying for a alcohol license.

They might want to fix that 49 they got on their health inspection first…

They did. Bumped all the way up to 71!

BTW- Flip just got a 69!

Westside or Buckhead? Though if one got it, that makes me doubt I’m rushing out to the other.

Buckhead . . .

Follow up today got Flip a 98 FWIW.

Anybody wonder what the inspector got?

No updates in a while guys? No one going out? Or are you all creatures of habit?

I am heading to Ecco tonight, which I don’t see on the list, so I’ll add it.

Any major restaurants that we are missing?

Well, we didn’t get charged, though I am not sure that is the norm. I have shot a message to Vajra to confirm the actual policy however.

Updated . . .

BTW- food was really excellent.

Here are a few places I am interested in info on. TIA guys.

The Family Dog (not that I’ll ever go!) [neener.gif]
Legal Seafood
Hal’s
Kaleidoscope
H Harper Station
The Sound Table
Justin’s
Tuk Tuk Thai
Season’s 52
Five Season’s
Joey D’s
Floataway Cafe
Yeah Burger
West Egg
La Grotta
Sushi Huku

Was just wondering about Yeah Burger myself, so called Westside. Person that answered transferred me to a manager who said “we don’t have a corkage policy so bring whatever you want”. I intend to test this soon, so will report back if actual experience differs.

Took a left turn on the way to Yeah Burger and ended up at Abattoir instead. We were not charged corkage on a bottle we brought, but did also buy a bottle from the list. And it was a slower mid-week night. So not sure what’s policy/typical. (And didn’t see them listed here, unless I overlooked.) I will say the food and atmosphere were both quite good and prices were fairly reasonable.

Bocado last night. Corkage was $15, so has apparently gone up (unless I just somehow pissed them off). Super noisy inside but very enjoyable on the patio.
