Atlanta

I believe that South City Kitchen is $20. I have been charged that two out the four times I have BYOB’d.

Not on the list, but Valenza is $20 and they “prefer” only one bottle per table.

Valenza is the fifth one down. If you call ahead or talk to Michael there he is pretty open to anything.

You ever see this? http://www.gobyo.com/index_A.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I actually meant the “need info on these” list. Who would have thought to look at the “already did the work” list blush !?

Wish I had seen that, and your advice to call before we went. oh well. Food was great, as always, btw.

By the way, does anyone know the final word on Craft? I know it’s listed above as “Now Closed”, but is actually still open. Last available reservation on Open Table appears to be for Thursday 2/10. I’m assuming open thru that following weekend, but perhaps only taking phone rez, but don’t really know. (Oh, and if this is answered above, just shoot me). And yeah, I suppose I copuld call and ask, but I figure they’re so sick of the question, they might shoot me.

F.A.B. $20
Dogwood $25
Ecco $20
La Tavola $20
D.B.A. Barbecue No charge
Hal’s $20
McKendrick’s $20
La Petite Maison $15 (often waived)

57th Fighter Group $10 (Gregg Herndon, formerly of Taste of New Orleans, Tiburon Grille, and Redfish, is now cooking there - am going this weekend, will post a report)

Wow…good to hear.

Is it accurate?

There are some discrepancies with what has been posted by people here. Otherwise looks useful.

John - Not sure, haven’t used it in over a year.

Chad - Craft is open through Valentine’s. I was told Craft Bar is no longer open for brunch or lunch.

Rumormill ATL has the possibility of Rathbuns taking over the Craft space…not sure if it would be another location…or moving.

Just a rumor here…

+1

I listed it as Closed" because they announced they were closing and I was updated the thread. I know they have not officially shut down yet but they will not re-open there or anywhere in town. So, for those reasons, I felt it was appropriate to list them as “closed” for now.

As to the rumor about Rathbun’s and the Craft space, I haven’t heard anything beyond what was posted. But it would be great for me, given it is much closer than Krog Street!

Corkage was waived(didn’t ask, just didn’t show up on the bill) at both JCT Kitchen and Iberian Pig a few months ago.

Also Parish is free corkage.

Parish, IMO, has had two big drops in quality over the past few years, but I think they’ve turned it around recently. With free corkage, Scoutmob(50% off), the $120 for $100 GC(20% off), the $11 off concentrics receipts, skymiles dining(5% off), CC points(1-2% off), etc, etc, ad nausem…eating there is much cheaper than eating the equivalent at home. A $50 bill after all the discounts becomes $18.80 before tax & tip. I’ve noticed that recently the crowd has been rather sparse, but I’m determined to turn that mother around.

Looks like Craft is closing after service tomorrow night.

Craft isn’t going to make it 'till Valentine’s day huh? Rough

Updated again.

No corkage fee at Local 3

Both the rosemary-Parmesan popcorn and crispy pork rinds are great with no-corkage Krug Grand Cuvée.

The chef there, chris hall, is a big wine fan. As I was doing my best to drink him out of 2006 lillian one night, he stopped by, gave me his card and told me to contact him about opening some of his lillian “blue label” syrah. Real nice guy.

I’m partial to the truffle popcorn though!
