Got mine almost $4500 with tax and shipping. Didn’t know that it cost $112 to ship a 3 pack box.

Well…they weren’t in between vintages when AG visited in Nov. so he was able to taste it…98+pts…“The Lafite of Napa”…

I haven’t heard anybody getting off the waiting list in a long time and I can’t imagine anybody is getting an offer simply by waiting on the list anymore. They have such a long list and I’m sure plenty of demand from high profile people. If they have room to add people, I’d be shocked if they did so from the list. While I’m sure they would not advertise it they can pick and choose who they want at this point.

Like I said, I wouldn’t imagine they will add anyone off the mailing list anymore. Why would they? I know the price of this wine is far beyond what you would pay to drink for yourself. Why would they add someone like you who just wants to buy the wine to turn around and sell it for a profit when they can sell it to a Michelin star restaurant. Or someone like Rory McIlroy. Or Steph Curry. Or someone else like that. It’s their wine and they can do whatever they want with it. I’d be shocked if that meant pulling people off the mailing list anymore.. There’s too many other higher profile people and places they can sell it to

Has there been any reviews of the wine? I would’ve imagined that would affect sales.
ICYMI, I’ve already confirmed several times that it works basically as David described. They add a handful of people each year and it’s not just celebrities, but it is people who are known consumers.
However, with the continued price increases and decreasing Napa demand, there may come a day in the not too distant future where they do start pulling names from their old list.

Im on the macdonald list and have been for some time.
Would I be upset if I was waiting? No, its their wine. Would I be disppointed? Sure but again its their wine

You don’t have to answer, but I’m curious. If you got on the list, would you buy it and drink it? If there was no longer a secondary market for more than the release price, would you still want to buy it? My impression is most of the people waiting on the list are more interested in flipping it than actually drinking it at current pricing. You don’t have to answer.
