Just got the email for the upcoming offer that hits next month.
Will the price stay the same or get beyond obnoxious?
last 3 releases
2021-$600
2019-$500
2018-$450

Pattern says the release will be $650.
I’m looking forward the The Last Bottle Scarecrow Marathon in 2027.
there were some back to back years that didn’t go up
Add to that the shitty current market
we shall see
I hope I’m wrong for sure.
Skipped last year (first time allocation). Crickets on my end. Makes decision very easy
In the past you get put to the end of the list if you pass once
If price goes up again, I’ll likely pass too
I love ‘em, but the increases are really stretching my retirement budget.
Probably passing given price point if any increase for what is probably rather a mediocre vintage
I made the list for the 1st time, 3 year wait I think. But I’m going to pass. At $450 I was on the fringe, $600+ is no way.
If anyone is interested in my allocation, PM me.
I’m in the same boat. Made the list after about 3 years. Really struggling to bite at this price point.
I passed last year after buying since the 2015 vintage. Curious to see if i get an invite this year. I’d continue to pass anyway so guess it doesn’t matter.
During the Hour of Power of this past Decembers Marathon there was some Scarecrow that popped up.
Was their anything in the pre-release that discussed production?
Generally speaking, if it is an off year, they make less Scarecrow and more M. Etain to maintain the quality of the Scarecrow.
The critics haven’t reviewed the wine, so there isn’t anything out there other than what the winery is saying.
Nothing about production.

Our hearts are with those of you living through the tragic fires in Southern California and we will accommodate any needs which may arise.
With fond regards,

I also received an introductory offer this year. Just went back and checked when I signed up and it was August of ‘22. A lot of folks must be passing…
lots dropped last year when it hit 600.
my 3 pack all in was $1995
One of the few allocations that I continue to buy, but this one is going to be tough. I have a complete vertical minus the ‘04 vintage (anyone have one to sell or trade ?) so I will probably buy this one, but this may be the last.
Well damn. Just checked my junk mail and I got an email too.
I might consider it at 600 but not much more. Let’s see what they come up with.
Yup I dropped last year and ask them to remove me from the list. They sent a letter asking if that was a mistake. Can’t justify it any longer.
