I don't think they have coupons. If you have an AMEX card, they often have the 50$ off of 250$ offers.

I am in Virginia and assume we are drawing from the same source. Currently four gamays and six rieslings—from the whole world! Pathetic.
Pathetic indeed. My understanding, however, is that it has to do with the fact that the NY warehouse is not being used because of the issues reported over the summer. So they can't keep stuff in stock in their Florida warehouse since it basically seems to be supplying the entire east coast. Most interesting things are snagged in a matter of minutes...

Same for me in GA, I assume coming from the warehouse in Miami. I literally haven't found anything of interest for the past two weeks. That's with lowering my expectations a good bit. Time to move on.

Open, yes, but I've been told that they haven't shipped anything out of NY in months now because of their "software" glitch.

Not helpful for you today, but they had a cyber Monday 15% off promo. Not sure if they do that every year but it was nice for some Geyserville and Caterwaul.

My brother-in-law works at the NY warehouse but I hadn't asked in a while. So I just texted him and asked him. Apparently, there are about 1/100th of the shipments shipping out of NY compared to the amount that used to ship out of there. The system is still not fully back up and running. There are a few areas getting shipments from the NY location as well as people who had shipments held for fall shipments that have released them. I used to only get shipments from NY (I get a few per week) and now I don't...haven't gotten a shipment from NY since early spring.

Currently have an order in my cart where stewardship discount shows as less than the shipping total, leaving a shipping balance. Has anyone had this happen? Is there an obvious reason I'm not considering?

After a long wait to chat they said it should not be happening and, if charged for shipping, to notify CS. Something to keep an eye on going forward though.

I have only bought from them using the coupons listed here (interestingly, I have never received a coupon myself, presumably because they’re not trying to entice me back). But even then, I’m sure none of my purchases have been below their costs, and they have still made an OK profit.

I requested wine.com folks for $100 off $300 coupons. They politely declined. Last year, I spent 90% of my budget at wine.com. I am thinking of not renewing Stewardship when it comes up in Jan. Amex has good offers on Benchmark, Vinfolio etc.

Any advice on where else to buy from?

I use WineLibrary. Their shipping is $100 per year and turn around on orders is about a month in covid. They do often have the best pricing i can find, but they run through interesting inventory pretty fast.

Have you tried some of the local shops in Seattle? I lived in Seattle for 10 years and never really felt the need to shop online with few exceptions - but I guess this would depend on what you were looking to buy. German, Champagne, Burgundy, and Rhone - I shopped during the tastings (because they offered additional discounts) of McCarthy & Schiering. There is also a shop around UW that has a good selection of Champagne and Burgundy called University Wines which has very good pricing and stuff you probably won't find anywhere else since he does a lot of his own importing. For BDX, I would typically go to Total Wine since they have a good selection and if you add the coupons, they were usually at or around the WS lows. Although not in Seattle, Grand Vin has some really good pricing and I would usually just do a run down there every other month and pickup whatever I had bought there over the previous months. They will also ship to Seattle for fairly cheap.

Thanks to whomever posted the 50 off 150 wine.com. They have the 2016 Paradigm on sale so with steward shipping and the discount it was $60 each all in. A nice deal on a great wine.

Any advice on where else to buy from?
While it never hurts to ask, I don't find it in any way odd that a retailer would decline to give you 1/3 off coupons, no matter how much you spend. I do understand not renewing if you don't find you are getting the right value for Stewardship though. I've seen the quality of offer decline there over the past 9 months. hard to say whether that is due to tariffs, their own system issues, increased demand, a different purchasing strategy, or some combination of those and/or other factors. Therefore it is hard to know whether the selection will improve or decline in the coming year. That said, it only takes about two to three purchases (depending on the size of the order) to pay for Stewardship so I think it's low risk.

If I was located in the Pacific NW I imagine that I'd shop quite a bit from Vinopolis, Avalon, and Sec.

I use WineLibrary. Their shipping is $100 per year and turn around on orders is about a month in covid. They do often have the best pricing i can find, but they run through interesting inventory pretty fast.
I used to do the pass, and their pricing is much stronger than wine.com, but the selection at WL is terrible compared to what it once was.

I agree the selection is not great. That said, they have a lot of staples and the occasional good bottle that are about 10-40% higher in my market. Obviously the benefits vary by person, but it worked out well for me. Of course, I probably won't renew in the new year until they get their act together with shipping. TotalWine is giving them a run for their money...

Does VinFolio ever do 15% or more? I saw some codes out there like AUTUMN15 (15%), SUMMER1 (20%), WINE30 (30%) but none worked. The only one that worked was 10% referral code.

$50 off $150 and free shipping using link:
http://share.wineaccess.com/v/adam_30
It looks like WA does not allow Krug buyers with coupons anymore. I sent a referral to a buddy of mine that also lives in NYC (same warehouse) and it is out-of-stock for him but in-stock for me. I logged out of my account and also saw that it was out-of-stock.

The 15%/20% coupon never work for me, only the referral code 10% works.

The AMEX offers are 1) targeted, 2) limited to a certain number, and 3) sometimes card specific. So, not everyone will have this offer on their card.

Postcard from Kermit Lynch 20% off code using HOLIDAY2020 for purchases online, for French and Italian wines, from Dec 14 - Dec 27.

IIRC free shipping for $120ish or so too.

Thanks. What are people getting at wine.com (CA)? Seems like their stock is super low. My "$50 coupon staples" are all out (Comtes, Krug halfs, Vietti, ...)
