Everybody else's Costco >>>>> my Costco.
You’d be better off to pay full price then have to spend time in Lubbock, trust me.
Ha!

When HdH retail was in its prime, it was pretty great. But our liquor stores mostly stink. Chicago is dominated by Binny's, a Total Wine type store with (as far as I can tell) inferior pricing. But there's no question that I'd rather put up with Binny's than move to Lubbock.

I’m in So Cal, but my Costco is awful. Hoping the San Clemente Costco is better as I’ll be spending a lot of time down there soon.

2015 Bodegas Breca Granacha Breca. Buy it. Raspberry, leather, pepper and a mineral finish. Cheap, but great tasting weekday wine. $11.

2010 Malescot St. Exupery for $67 in Scottsdale.

Also 1 bottle left of 2015 Pontet-Canet for $104. Not the best deal but solid considering no shipping.

2008 Dom Perignon has landed in WI stores. The Appleton store got 4 6-packs yesterday. When I left they still had 3. $139.99/bottle, but I’m sure they’ll raise it. 06 and 09 still on the shelf st the same price.

19.97 in Mpls. I also have been adding some. It sounds like they did very well in 2016, so it will be enjoyable to compare the two vintages in 5 to 10 years without much investment. I heard the holdings changed a bit a few years ago with some plots traded, resulting in more Merlot, and less Cabernet in the blend.

Just tried a bottle of the 2016 Kirkland Signature Oakville Cabernet ($19).

It was a little tight the first night, but opened up more on the second. Very pleasant and balanced - great for the money, but not as big and rich as the 2016 Kirkland Signature Stags Leap.

The Costco in DE got some interesting inexpensive Bordeauxs.
La Brande....2015.... 12.79
Les Tours de Beaumont....2015.... 10.99

Both of the above are nice!

Lajarre 2016......8.69
Also nice

They got a nice 2012 Ribera Del Duero... 12.99
De restia crianza
Resalte

Outstanding!

Available at the Richmond, CA Costco as well. I picked up a bottle for a test drive, and it seems mighty soft for the appellation!

Seattle has lots of baby BDX, under $20, most 2016, plus Ferriere, Margaux, 2016 at $44.99.

Still 2009 Dom at $135 and Crustal at $219.

Will do, Kris!
Don't see the "Les Champs Royaux" on the label, or any other claim other than "Domaine William Fevre" There is some verbiage in English on the back label including "Estate Grown, Produced and Bottled by William Fevre" (Imported by Henriot) . If there is a level of his Chablis even more "generic" than the one you mention, I probably have that one!!! . . . maybe a Costco "exclusive" ?!?!

Wow, great price.
As of yesterday at Waltham MA:

'15 Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, $339.99, WA100 (6 bottles on shelf, OWC in back)...would buy some, but it doesn't sound very flippable

'15 Brane-Cantenac, $63
'14 Client, $80

Amusingly, the wine they claim is a 99pt WS Wine of the Year for $16.99 is actually a LBV not vintage port lol.
Cheers,

Please excuse the thread drift, but if you're near an HEB, check if they have it. It's $145 a bottle, less 10%, or $130 and change, if you buy 6 bottles of wine (it doesn't have to be 6 '08 Dom, but why not :-)) at my local store.

Yeah, sometimes HEB has great deals. The one nearest me with a decent wine selection is Bunker Hill. I obviously check the wine section every time I go. They currently only have a bunch of 2009 for ~$160 (pre 10% discount).

Hawaii (Kona Store) now has the DP '08 but....at $165.99 . Same SKU, 21006. Ahhh, the price of paradise!

The most interesting addition to inventory was the Guado al Tasso in OWC, 6 packs, closed case only, at $99.
Not a discount, so I didn't grab one since this modern style Super Tuscan was at the same price as the in stock
and very plentiful Mondavi Reserve '15. If I'm gonna spend a Benjamin on a modern red I feel more comfortable in
To-Kalon than Tuscany....

And for a hundred dollar Italian, well $118 anyway, we still have the last 7-8 bottles of a couple of cases they got of Fontodi's
Flaccianello. I have some sleeping.....

I had to go get a tire at the Oceanside NY location. Their liquor store had some Kirkland brand stuff.

I picked up a liter of the 7 year TN bourbon for $30 plus tax. Seems like a pretty good deal. It has a nutty flavor that makes me think George Dickel.

I also saw a 20 year old Speyside Single Malt for $56.99+ tax. Seemed like a good deal but I didn't pull the trigger on that one.

Atlanta (Brookhaven) now with the 08 Dom at $138. Good deal.
Thanks, this was good news as I’ve been waiting to see if it would turn up at Costco at the same price as the 2009 (I was worried that they’d crank up the price for the 2008 like Total Wine did). As of an hour ago there was at least one bottle left, but I didn’t check to see if they had more beneath the display. Tower Buckhead has it for $149.97, which is a pretty good price as well.

Kris, thanks for posting. Do you recall what the price was on the Mouton?
