So much discussion of Champagne lately (a good thing) that I thought this would make an interesting separate thread. I must admit that I don’t drink that much sparkling wine other than Champagne, but ones I have had over the last several years that I really have enjoyed have been:
Peter Lauer Saar Reserve Riesling Sekt Brut - these can be found sometimes with a good bit of age on them and with this age they are really good.
Albert Mann Cremant d’Alsace - Just a beautiful expression of Riesling fruit in a sparkling package.
dom huet vouvray petillant brut - a real classic. Can be really good.
