why not in burgundy and with a little bit history;

Wow, for sale!
Seriously, I don´t find 3.2 Mill Euro expensive for that … but I don´t know what conditions are going with the purchase (historic monument … etc. )
This reminds me on one of the most enjoyable picknicks we ever had - just in front of this castle. We were to late for the noon visit, had to wait until 2 pm. We were hungry.
We had already bought cheese, pastete, ham, fresh baguette, but only expensive “Vin de garde” in the car - so nothing apropriate to drink.
I went to the next wine-producers a few 100 m down the street - they were right at lunch, happy to sell us wine (they thought about a case or so … ) and I asked about a single bottle only for our lunch …
All they had was Hautes-Cotes-de-Beaune red and white …
I bought one bottle red ((I told them “no need to stick a label to it” … must have been vintage 1992 or 93 … ) and it fitted gorgeously to our simple meal.
i make many picknicks in burgundy at different places over many years.
This years was at the hill over Montrachet and other place was the portal to Clos de Lambrays.
I want that so bad.
I’m gonna go buy a Lotto ticket.
It’s my dream home.
