Yellowstone - Jackson hole eating recommendations?

Taking family for trip to Yellowstone and stopping by Jackson Hole. Any recommendations for dining appreciated.

can’t say anything about the food but the ‘million dollar cowboy bar’ is a must when in jackson…

If you are around Yellowstone’s north entrance near Gardner, head to Pray and go to Chico Hot Springs.

The corkage at the Lake Yellowstone Hotel Dining Room was $10 or so in 2021. Food is B+ for national park dining. C+ in the real world. There is a Whole Foods in Jackson that was welcome for takeout lunch fare.

For higher end dining, I really like Snake River Grill. If you will be near Teton Village, I’ve had good meals at Il Villagio Osteria. For lunch I like Sidecar in Wilson, which is inside the Basecamp store. Basecamp has also had a pretty interesting selection of wines in the past.

near the whole foods there is a wine store that has a decent selection. found some gonon st joe there last year for well under ws low. forget the name at the moment but i believe it is the only game in town so probably not hard to find.

In Jackson, I second Snake River Grill. Can be a tough reservation, but worth it. Glorietta for Italian. Local for steaks. King or Kampai for sushi. Persephone or Picnic for brunch / lunch. There is also a Persephone in Wilson (West Bank) that is great if you are staying in Teton Village. Corsa is my favorite in Teton Village for italian. Teton Thai in the village is decent, and can be pretty spicy, if looking to mix it up.

Food isn’t great, but just outside the main entrance to Grand Teton National Park is a place called Dornan’s that has an amazing view of the Tetons from its deck. Side note: If looking for a suggestion with the fam, renting bikes at the shop near Dornan’s and then riding to Jenny Lake followed by lunch or dinner at Dornan’s is a great day. Can also park bikes at the lake and do the hike to hidden falls as it’s not too strenuous.

Have fun!

Thanks for advice. Appreciate all the great input. There’s only so much chain restaurants i can do.

Came back from Yellowstone. Gorgeous.

Appreciate the recommendations.

We liked Glorietta for Italian: the shaved vegetables salad was unique and good. Pesto Fava pasta was too.

Persephone was good for brunch.

Snake river grill did not wow us. Pretty, white cloth restaurant… we used the Amex concierge to get the reservation

there is a wine shop at Dorman, right next door to the pizza and pasta store. They had pretty good selection including second growth Bordeaux.
