So at the food store and ran into these things ( Yam Noodles ). They are made by Shirakiku ( Nishimoto Trading Company )… One package is 7 oz. Made from Purified water, yam flour and CaOH ( calcium Hydroxide ). Anyone played with these… Doesn’t look like it has much nutritional food value. Thoughts?
I’d use them to make jap chae. Just don’t make more than you’ll use for one meal, they’re pretty terrible as leftovers.
Oh, the only thing I know that uses those noodles is sukiyaki. The Korean yam noodles are dried.
