I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice regarding the '48 vintage. My Mom isn’t a wine addict like all of us here, but I thought it would be cool to maybe get a sticky that still has life in it (but won’t cost $5,000).

If that fails, I have a 1948 Palacio de Arganza Bierzo Gran Reserva that, as far as I can tell, it is the or one of the oldest Mencias on the planet, but I wasn’t planning to sell it.
