We had a 1991 Forman Cab on the last Friday of December in Pacific Grove and it was fantastic. We have at least one Forman Cab every year to toast our late friend Dave, who introduced us to Ric and his wines many years ago.

If it was, I missed it. I would have been all over a Jasnier with age.
I was thinking about this or the ‘19 for an upcoming birthday since recent CT notes suggest it’s not one to age. Would love your take on this if it’s a “drink sooner rather than later.”

2019 Rivers-Marie Herb Lamb Cab
Leslie Fisher (love her!) said “you—try this first!”. She wasn’t wrong. Aromatics of plum and cassis, and maybe even some latent cured tobacco. In the mouth…wow. So good. Full of black fruit and yet woodsy and controlled with great structure. A total triumph and my WOTD
