Wolf Family sold and moved

Just received the following e-mail:

As some of you may have heard, Wolf Family Vineyards has begun a new chapter in its wonderful winemaking story. We have sold our Inglewood Estate and moved to a quaint vineyard estate, just around the corner.

It is our family’s long term goal to put forth high caliber Napa Valley wines with the help of our winemaker Karen Culler, who has led the wine program since our first vintage in 1997. We pay particular homage to the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, crafting highly acclaimed wines of character and longevity.

We look forward to sharing our upcoming vintages with you, so please keep an eye out for our 2011 Phaedrus release next month. We thank you for being a part of our continuing story.

Warmest Regards,

Jane, Doug, Alex, Justin and Adam

I wonder what this means for the wines and who bought the property?

Tony Biagi, former Plumpjack winemaker-current winemaker at Hourglass, is at the helm here. Personally I’m really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Thanks Will. 20 million sounds like a bargain for the property and all it has to offer. Good luck to both ventures.

I didn’t realize this wasn’t common knowledge

maybe i’m alone, but it was the first I heard of it. i’m not ITB or local though.
