Is it worth it?
Every single Beau Vigne wine is eventually discounted, so how do they justify their lofty retail prices? Hard pass.

Totally agree. I have really enjoyed Wine Spies mystery offers so far. From the hunt to the value they are passing on. This one is disappointing in “pretending” it isn’t really a $40 wine

I don’t buy Beau Vigne. The ones that I have purchased from winespies haven’t been the QPR that I would have hoped for.
Didn’t Beau Vigne change hands? I get that all their wines get discounted, but my primary concern is that 2022 Beau Vigne isn’t on the level of 2016 (coincidentally we opened a 2016 Beau Vigne Stags Ridge on Friday and it was phenomenal. Best i’ve had from them for sure.

Yeah, I think at least by the 2018 vintage if not sooner Seven Apart owns Stags Ridge vineyard…not sure where Beau Vigne is getting their grapes from now, but as has already been remarked on, they’ve been all over the discount sites over the past few years

So is today’s (April 22nd) Wine Spies undisclosed deal where Julien Fayard is the winemaker from Beau Vigne? If so, which wine from that estate?

I won’t for several reasons. One is the discount appears to be the same as ordering the wine when it was featured and I don’t want more of the wines that I already bought AND I don’t want getting some wine that I won’t like. Not to mention I don’t have room for a case.
