Wines you would buy regularly if the prices came down 25%

100% this (mutatis mutandis ). Sometimes I wonder what all the fuss is about.

OMG - You must be a European. There are probably only 10 people in the US who know what Mutatis Mutandis means, and they are all lawyers. champagne.gif

Egon Muller Kabinett which is now in the $200-250 zone. It nearly doubled in 1-2 years.

I’m not a lawyer, and I knew what it meant. Must be all that time with lawyers on wine boards.

Abreu, Peter Michael, Aubert, Shafer HS, Palmer I’m sure there are more

25%? I got used to the 50% employee discount when my daughter was working at Januik.

Two that come immediately to mind are Tignanello and Flaccianello, although 25% may not be enough.

I learned it as a philosophy major in the US. Of course, quite a few philosophy majors do go on to law school.

Bryant DB4 at 125 was a steal and that was back in 2019 beginning of 2020. Now it’s 175. So sad.

Without too much trouble, I could find a few orders of magnitude beyond 10 academics who know the meaning of this. It’s not really that obscure.

I just cracked a 2019 Sea Smoke and honestly I wish it was bigger. It’s become very AFWE in my opinion.

Definitely Shafer Hillside Select. DB4 and Dalla Valle are others.

I haven’t completely stopped buying all of these, but I wouldn’t say I buy any of these “regularly.”

Those are the ones that come to mind immediately, in large part by looking through CT to see what I’ve bought in the past. Surely, there are many more …
