Wines you buy every vintage

Some of these are based on the few clubs/lists I still belong to. Others are ones I recently started buying annually, but intend to do so going forward. I don’t buy anything by the case - 2-3 bottles max of any single wine.

Gramercy - everything
Kerloo - Syrahs
Analemma - everything
Thomas
Cameron - esp both Clos Eleqtriques and Abbey Ridges
Matello/Goodfellow - SVD PNs and rose, but need to procure more of the whites
Walter Scott - a bit of everything, but def the Chards
Tempier - Rose and rouge
Baudry - Rose, Domaine, Grezeaux
Pepiere - Clisson and Briords
Boulay - all of the Sancerre Blancs
Thivin Côte de Brouilly
Crowley - Chards
Vajra - base and some of the svds
Produttori - normale and some riser as

Quinta do Crasto Old Vine Reserva.

Where else do you get what is typically a 93-94 point rated wine for less than $35. It’s an awesome wine for the price, year in and year out.

a bunch it seems;

Pepiere Clisson
Pepiere Clos des Briords
Baudry Grezeaux
Baudry Rose (might be ending the run soon…)
Edmond Vatan
Marc Plouzeau Ante Phylloxera
Gonon St. Joseph
Gonon Vin de Pays de l’Ardèche Les Iles Feray
Burlotto Monvigliero
Cappellano Piè Rupestris Otin Fiorin
Clos Roche Blanche Cuvée Pif
Foillard Cuvée Corcelette
Bernard Levet Côte-Rôtie La Chavaroche
Albert Mann Pinot Noir Grand H
Yvon Métras Fleurie L’Ultime
Hervé Souhaut Sainte Epine
Éric Texier Vieille Serine Domaine de Pergaud
Ultramarine
Dirty & Rowdy

There are quite a few that I buy every year in order to watch vintage variation and see what each winemaker can do with each vintage. That is a big part of the hobby for me.

Ceritas chardonnays
Dauvissat Forest and Les Clos
Raveneau MDT
PYCM Corton Charlemagne
Ridge Monte Bello
Faiveley Corton Charlemagne
Fevre Les Clos and Preuses
Bandol Tempiere
Hobel Engelhard
Jadot CSJ
Giuseppe E Figlio Mascarello Barolo Monprivato
Bartolo Mascarello Barolo
Domaine du Pégaü Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée
Some Rhys

I’ve moved on to different regions in the past 3 years so it’s not really accurate for me to claim I purchase a particular bottle or producer every year but if I had to pick a few they would be:

Chevillon: several reds to include Vaucrainis, Les Cailles, Chaignots, Pruliers and Les Georges
Dujac: 1/2 case or more per year…various vineyards
Bouchard: I’m purchasing various vineyards which I like because I haven’t really found a specific one I don’t appreciate.
Hubert Lignier & Gouges: once again trying various bottles each year.

Gonon SJ, Thierry Allemand, Levet Chevaroche

Dauvissat: Forest
Raveneau: Butteaux
Henri Boillot Moucheres
PYCM St Aubin

Giacomo Conterno Barolo CF

Dom Perignon, Taittinger Comtes BdB, Ruinart and MV Krug.

Barthod’s is also very good (it’s clearly a high-class vineyard), but to my taste it’s for somewhat earlier drinking while I find Rion’s more age-worthy. I tend to drink his BBB with 5-10 years of bottle age.

Myriad
Saunter
Maybach
Hundred Acre
Schramsberg (too keep the Mrs happy)

Tricky question. Assuming not cases and assuming at least one cuvee for the producer and assuming that MacDonald counts because I have been buying it every year since the beginning even though that’s not for all that long, an unsurprising list:

Saxum
Carlisle
Outpost
Aubert
Schrader
Scarecrow
Rivers Marie
SQN
Black Sears
Scholium Project

I just started with Quivet amd Myriad and I suppose those are going to be keepers.

After reading through some of these lists I realized I’d forgotten some:

Arnot Roberts
Ultramarine
Dirty and Rowdy
Thomas
Metras

My only case buy is Pepierre’s Briords

Bedrock and Mount Eden. Others that I buy almost every year would include Patricia Green, Cristom, Owen Roe and Sineann.

Here are some where I’ve bought all of the last 5-6 available vintages:

Rhys Alpine Chard & Pinot
Dujac Chambolle & MSD Villages
Guillemot Savigny 1ers
Ch. Des Tours CdR and Vacqueyras
Chave St. Joseph
