Wines stores in West Palm Beach, FL

I’ll be in West Palm for about 5 days next week. If I had to hit one wine store in the area (say half-hour radius), where should I go and why?

Thanks!

The Wine Wave in Delray Beach has a good selection of smaller production wines. They’re located about 35 minutes South of West Palm Beach.

Easily Wine Watch in Fort Lauderdale. Not even a question.

Also you can’t go wrong with Total Wine, for its huge selection. But for vintage wine and very difficult to find wine, Wine Watch is one of the tops inthe country.

Don’t think I’ll make it to Fort Lauterdale this trip. But thanks. We are sometimes on the north end of Miami Beach, and that’s a more manageable detour from there for another time.

Thanks.

If you do not want to drive south to Delray, there is also the Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy in West Palm Beach just north of Clematis Street. Virginia is a MS.

The Wine Wave is a great spot and my LWS. The owners are great people; I’m not trying to steer business away from them just trying to aid you in maybe not driving far south. They also have an incredible craft beer selection if you’re into beer.

That may be a great wine store but it’s a good 45 minutes (or way more in traffic) drive from west palm beach!

I agree with Sherri. Sunrise is a long haul from WPB; especially during season which seems to have started earlier than usual.

Wine Watch is about a 1 hour commute to West Palm Beach, depending on the location in West Palm and the traffic on 95.

But worth the drive! Wine Wave is an excellent recommendation though, with wines from a lot of great producers, so very good suggestion.

Not many bargains at Wine Wave but some fun bottles.
It’s a nice location, about a sand wedge from the Intracoastal.

If you are trying to stay as close as possible to WPB, Hampton’s in Palm Beach is a decent option.

Not cheap, but over the years I found one or two bargains. I got some Arnaud Ente from them a few years ago at very good prices.
