Planning a long weekend in Seattle in September. Won’t rent a car so looking for good wineries/tasting rooms in and around Seattle that are reasonable Ubering distance. Hotel will be downtown.
Any recommendations?

Just got back yesterday. Visited the following:
South of Downtown (SODO):
Sleight of Hand
Rosie
Both are Walla Walla producers with tasting rooms in Seattle. About 15 minutes south of downtown.
In Woodinville:
Gorman
Baer
Bets
Bookwalter
Savage Grace
DeLille
Long Shadows
Avennia
Mathews
Janie (Mathews’ white wine brand)
In Woodinville there are dozens of tasting rooms.
Sorry, meant Betz
Randy - FYI - if you click on your post where you had the misspellling, and then click on the pencil, it will allow you to edit your post
Rotie as well ![]()
There’s been this type of question before so I’m sure if you use the search function you’ll find plenty of info. Just intending to be helpful so nothing churlish intended in this suggestion. I’d add the K Vintners tasting room about half way between downtown and Seatac airport and only a few miles from the SODO tasting rooms, also easy by Uber.
Ted, I would have to go with Randy. Those are some great spots to check out. You won’t be disappointed. Some of my favorites are on that list (Betz, Sleight of Hand, Matthews, and Bookwalter).
There are a number of tasting rooms in SoDo, the industrial area just south of downtown. The SoDo Urban Works on 1st ave has Latta Cellars, Kerloo, Sleight of Hand, Patterson, Rotie, Nine Hats, and Structure.
Closer to the stadium is Efeste. Charles Smith would be an easy uber ride also.
The Pioneer Square area of Downtown has Browne and Locus. Pike Place Market has “the Tasting Room,” which sells wines from a number of mostly lesser known Columbia Valley wineries.
Full Pull is also in SoDo Urban Works, and they have a small retail selection. Always interesting stuff at good pricing. Technically only open for drop ins Thu-Sat noon-6 but usually if staff is around, they are happy to let you browse and purchase.
