Wine sightings in shows/film

That reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from the show…

I saw that, seemed like such a random vintage to call out. In magnum no less.

This is proof boxed wine can be winners!

Maybe my favorite episode! My wife and I binged the entire series and just finished it up ~2 months ago. I’ve mostly just seen every episode once but a few do stick out - this being one of them.

I dunno, that vintage label above the main label looks crooked and has the wrong font. Someone call Don!

A classic scene before the Bond films locked into Bollinger for their champagne. And a wine faux pas from Robert Shaw’s incognito bad guy causes a knowing raised eyebrow from Sean Connery’s Bond.

A bottle of Dom is probably the least interesting possible wine sighting in a movie, but the scene in Michael Clayton where he opens the fridge and there’s two glasses, a bottle of Dom (can’t see what year), and some jello/pudding is still one of my favorites.

Is that PeeWee Herman as the waiter?

That '71 Dom is now $1800 on WS Pro.

I am surprised you picked that wine for Emily and Paris. The show is full of product placements for Taittinger.

Actually, I dont watch this show. I saw my wife watching it and caught a glimpse of the scene.

The Yellowstone finale from 3 days ago showed a bottle of Josh on the table.

The new show “Grand Crew” is actually a play on Grand Cru. Think of it as a reboot of friends with a wine bar called Cru replacing Central Perk. There’s a very prominent poster/wine label across from the actual bar, 2013 Theopolis Petite Sirah.

A bottle of 2002 Harlan makes a brief appearance in Season 6 Episode 20 of Modern Family and Phil comments on how expensive it is. I remember wondering whether the cast drank the contents of the bottle before or after shooting.

The Aloxe-Corton '65 from Fawlty Towers.
Now what producer could it be?

Anyway, almost the entire cork opening scene is improvised as what happens to the cork and the corkscrew
was not scripted and it was lucky that the actors managed to keep a straight face.

Just caught the latest Bond movie No Time To Die on the homebound plane yesterday. A bottle of Ch. Angelus made an appearance (also featured in Casino Royale).

Ooops. Just scrolled back. Already mentioned.

In the first episode of season 4 of Cobra Kai, Terry Silver roundhouse kicks a magnum of Kamen cabernet in his cellar while grabbing a bottle of Montrachet.
