Anyone have any shop recommendations for the Melbourne or Vero Beach area in Florida?
I live in Orlando but grew up in the Melbourne Beach area and get over there now and then. Of course, you have the usual Total Wine and ABC Liquors. In Vero, there is a shop called Varietals and More that has a solid selection for a small shop. I have not been but Beachside Wines in Satellite Beach is supposed to be a nice shop. There is also a place called Djon’s Village Market in Indialantic that might be decent. I have not been there . The famed Robert Alfert spends half his time in Vero and would be a good source and I believe that R M Kriete on this board lives in the Melbourne area. You might hit them up.

The best wine shops in Melbourne (Green Turtle and Petty’s) have closed. Agree that Beachside Wines and Dijon’s are options, but neither are particularly high end. Beachside is open Thursday through Saturday and the owner is quite enthusiastic, so worth a visit
