I’m moving to a house where i cannot build a cellar so must go the wine refrigerator route.
I’d like to get 150-300 bottles.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Have good luck with Artevino units through Costco
Thank you Chris I will check them out
What id capacity?
That’s it, I have two side by side
Thank you Joel. I will check it out
I’m in the market as well and every time I see that Artevino, the price creep makes me wish I bought it 6 months ago
Thanks Elliot
Not sure what market you’re in, but the #1 option is to find one second hand.
They’re extremely difficult to get rid of and often pennies on the dollar, and one that’s a few years old is basically just as good as a new one.
Also, whatever number you think you need, that’s way less capacity than you actually need. Probably triple whatever number you have in your head.
How good are the Artevino ones for Burgundy/other non-Bordeaux shaped bottles? Can you comfortably fit them on the shelves or only on the top/bottom?
Thanks I’ll look into it
There’s lots of threads on this topic so a search might offer some more info. I recently posted here

I’ve had wine in my new units about 10 days now, and so far, no complaints.
Keep an eye out on Costco.com for sales on the Artevino. I purchased mine this past April for $2688 after a special promo they were running
Thank you. I appreciate the help.
I tried to search but am too feeble to get it right.
Lenny
I get 186 bottles on my Artevino with a mix of all size bottles
Philadelphia Wine Community is a public Facebook group. Someone just posted a cabinet and cooling unit for sale. A bit expensive for used but looks to be in excellent condition.
I’m happy with my Eurocaves but I love the idea of a replaceable cooling system.
Thanks I didnt know there was a Philly wine group
That one is not very active. I think it started as a closed ITB group.
Burgundy actually pretty good – the sloping shape seems to help … only the very largest bottles are problematic (when the big ends can’t fit side by side). Bordeaux shape is ideal, but big heavy Bordeaux/Napa are actually the worst - they’re huge AND don’t slope in enough toward the top so you can’t really use the head/toe orientation well at all.
Champagne is also tough since many bottles are very thick (Krug, etc) and/or oddly shaped (Comtes, Billecart etc) at the bottom. Slimmer Champagne bottles actually fit quite nicely – as long as you don’t want to stack them.
