Wine Glass recommendation for casual party

We are having a casual get together this weekend and will be opening a bunch of wine.

I don’t want to use my expensive glasses or my old “fish bowl” glasses (to discourage those few from pouring 1/2 bottle into their glasses).

I have a bunch of mix/match less expensive stem/stemless.

I was going to buy an additional 12 on the inexpensive side. Any recommendations for both serious and casual wine drinkers? These will most likely be in storage until the next party.

Glasvin GV Home. 12pk of universal is at great price.

How inexpensive? You can get an 8-pack of basic own-brand stems at Crate and Barrel for like $40 and open stock the additional four for probably like $6 each. Schott Zwiesel probably more like $10 a stem.

Sorry, Glasvin stems are not inexpensive and imo, are not meant for the casual wine drinker or party. I have around a dozen and a half of various types so I am a fan.

My recommendation is Schott Zwiesel.

They have Schott Zwiesel quite often at Home Goods.
Probably other off brands that would work fine for a party though too. Surprising how many make relatively thin walled glasses now.

Idk if you can get those cheap riedels anymore at the various home stores?

I think I am going to go to Homegoods tomorrow and see what they have. I was initially going to order off Amazon.

Costco only tends to carry wine glasses seasonally (in warehouse) but if you can deal with delivery they offer both Stolzle and Zweisel

The riedel glasses are 4 for $44 at target. You may be able to find better deals at home goods. I still have hundreds of the 4 pack stems from Best Buy that were $10/pk

Gabriel stemless if you are okay with stemless; nothing comes close on value.

How much were those VYCE stemless?

$100 for 48 on BDay For the OAO; same price now. The size is 500 ml

I haven’t seen these in person, but they look like a good option (they also have an 18 oz red glass if you want something larger):

Shows up as 48/168?

These have a heavier bottom and maybe not as thin a rim.

Crazy deal on the VYCE, though I personally would pay the premium for a laser cut rim on the GG vs. the VYCE. Makes a big difference to me.

These have a cold cut rim. They are 1mm thick. They have very little weight. Happy to put on a scale and share the data. But these are very elegant, if that’s the description of a thin overall glass. Happy to even send a free sample or two if you want to pay the $5.00 in shipping g for them

I have manning these. I have no issue with the 48/$100. Just email me. Im getting some moved to CA to help with longer shipping costs. They come out of chicago now and a case can be $35 to CA vs if I distribute out of CA, falls to $20-$25.

Sounds like insane value even against the GG, thanks for the detail.
