Got the quantities and asking prices. Not so hot. He’s basically looking for going rates on Wine-searcher/auction. If anyone wants specifics I’ll forward on the DAT file. My thoughts were to get the whole thing for $50ish K, but it seems he’s not cutting deals.

Will he take back corked bottles? If a cc post is matching a WS low price, I most of the time will go for the retailer.

Amen. He bought a bunch as investment wine, but 6 months and a crappy economy don’t make a quick buck.

He needs to consider how much it would bring him if he put it in auction (minus all the commissions and low prices) and/or what it would cost to ship, and just take the hit.
