Hi,

My old fridge crapped out on me, and was wondering if anyone uses This wine vault specifically for garage storage. I live in Miami so my garage probably reaches 90-100 degrees during peak summer. Is this made for south Florida garages? Would love to hear some feedback from anyone that has experience with this fridges.

Can’t comment on the fridge but WE seems more into selling products then reviewing wine now a days.

Out in the garage will be rough on the compressor. If you get two years out of it, I’d be surprised. Even a Eurocave is going to struggle to maintain temps in that heat. I’d do whatever I could to get that indoors.

Is it possible for you to drop an AC line into the garage to lower the temperature a bit? I did that and added the garage door insulation panels and it made a huge difference. I have a similar unit in the garage and it’s been running just fine. I’m also in Miami.

I could put a mini split in the garage and run it periodically to drop the temperature. As you’re well aware it’s just so damn hot here in Miami lol. It almost just feels too risky. Maybe I’ll just wait for Black Friday and purchase a regular cooler.

If you ducted the intake air to come from inside the home rather than inside the garage it would make a huge difference and would work fine in the space.
