I think we can all agree that without generous coupons Wine.com consistently has high prices. I usually buy when on sale and with great coupons and free shipping. So I was surprised when doing a bit of research on today’s Wine Spies offer (2018 Close Du Val Merlot) that wdc had the lowest price n the country by far ($26.99 on a $50 list). Do you think this is an error? If you had working coupons this might be a great buy.
Ive seen wdc having lowest prices from time to time. Not a common theme but happens.

Sometimes, what looks like an ‘error’ online might not actually be when one opens their shipping box. To wit:

WDC does have a number of issues scattered about - typically related to bottlings, sizes, etc. - but even if one requests (prior to ordering) they double check that what is proffered vs. what is actually in the warehouse, there isn’t any correction, ever. Customers just learn over time to avoid SKU that look problematic, or document so thoroughly (before buying) that if one wants an adjustment later on, that they have strong standing for that.
