Wine Collection going to WineBid < starting Sunday night Oct 5th

Howdy everyone, I just wanted to put it out there that our Private wine collection my family has is going up for auction this Sunday Oct 5th at 730pm pst. Through WineBid.
A little about this collection. My Late Father started drinking wine back in the Mid 80s around 86 to ease my mothers mind lol. In 88 he started collecting it for investment in future < why else have 1200 bottles and 13 years of wine receipts?
We have sorted out 670 bottles and sent them off to WineBid to be sold. < Mother is keeping the rest, to share, drink and enjoy some super fine Red wines, and some vintage Port. This is a mostly Red Cab collection. with little Port and some Merlots.
I have personally drank some of these already, including the 89 Mouton, Some of the Dunn HM, Heitz, Silver oak and Caymus. My favorite to date might be the 79 Caymus we had few weeks ago, or the 89 Mouton. There are a few Ridge’s, Cains, Duckhorns, And of Course the 85, 86, 87 Lafite’s or 86 Case of Mouton and 87 n 89 Mouton also. Little Cornas and Diamond Creek are included. I will attach the list that will be included in auction for everyone to check out if they wish. Thanks WineBerserkers, for opening my world and knowledge since finding all this a few months ago.

Provenance-storage?

All in temp controlled wine storage’s at my fathers business building and a home built wine cellar at homes in LA area and Del Norte area of CA. Only owner of all wine. Bought most of it through K&L Wine merchants out of Napa. Couple boxes full of all Wine magazines, and catalogs. The 77 Taylors port, spot on so good

This reminds me of Dick Krueger’s collection.

Lots of crazy old world stuff popped up on Winebid last night as well. Top names in Champagne, Burgundy and Rhone wines. Really tempted to bid on some…

any humans left working at winebid? What’s Domaine Thierry?

Maybe these two ?

They appear to have fixed it.

Looks like someone from Winebid was watching this forum

My experience is that they make amazingly few mistakes, given the complexity and confusion of so many similar wine labels.

Is posting one’s consignments hitting the auction sites fine? If it’s not some violation of norms and good taste as I’ve always assumed, I’ll post mine!

Morning everyone, I updated my list of whats left on Winebid. Down to 120 bottles or so.
Thank you to anyone who has bought some, I truely hope you enjoy.

I was told by the Grand Poohbah hisself, “not to” so I didn’t. That was 2021 so eons ago.
