Anyone bite? I picked up 6 random Pinots. Westside, Olivet, Terra, Eastside, Sonoma County, and Central Coast.
I bought some Sonoma Coast and Sonoma County.
Priced out of the higher stuff.
Picked up some East and West, RRV, Sonoma county and Central. Also love their unoaked chard.
I bought one unoaked Chardonnay.
Interested in trying that.
Always a buy for me. Wonderful wines that just seem to keep getting better. Great precision to them. Worth the cost.
Thread drift but we’re going to be in Santa Rosa soon. How hard is it to get a tasting at W-S?
According to their website; they’re open everyday. By appointment. Have to be an active list member (buy twice a year).
FWIW, when I was there last month for a tasting, they mentioned Terra was the overall favorite among staff this year. Otherwise I went in on AVAs and Eastside.
I did the same. It is the only release with the entry level pinots and they are worth the money. The fall release seems to only have the single vineyard wines so I will stock up on these for now.
Me too! Just bought one, will probably regret not getting more but want to try it first as have more chardonnay than we drink.
I doubt they’ll make it difficult. If you need a contact - LMK - their VP of Sales/Marketing is a friend.
It is my favorite domestic unoaked Chardonnay by a wide margin . Absolutley fantastic.
