Chris,
Are you helping out a restaurant in Rochester?
Chris,

Don’t know if you’ll find 700, but I’m in.
I would be in for at least 5 cases.
Obviously, I never said Gamay tastes like Pinot nor did I infer your conclusions on taste – why make that extension? Imo, Beaujolais is at times a more than worthwhile comparison to Pinot, especially in the right hands. Are you just anti-Bojo?
Fyi, had another 2012 Bouchard Bourgogne with some salmon last night - delish! Would recommend again.
Do 700 Berserker want to go in on an unlabeled wine of ours from 2013 that is composed of some of our better vineyard sources and is one of the better wines we made in 2013 and I just don’t know what to do with the labeling of it as of yet? Critical mass and everyone gets it for under 20 bucks.
In for (at least) a case.
Okay. Hmm. This wine does exist. I feel very weird as I am not trying to use this site as a sales device. It was sort of tongue and ccheekheek that I mentioned it. I would be happy to discuss particulars and see if there is some justifiable critical mass that can be achieved BUT only if people approve of me doing that. It has never been my intent to be anything but a normal ITB contributor to this site and I don’t want to appear to be pimpin’ (yo). So I will lay out everything if everyone and Todd is okay with it and we can see what happens. Do we need a poll on this or just enough yay or nay votes?
I’d buy.
Shiners we can put our own labels on!
CT forum has a project every year where they buy fruit and make a group wine.
Jim- Call it a late berserker day offer…
I don’t view the offer as being inappropriate. Maybe it needs to be made through commerce corner. What is the critical mass that you need?
Yes, please

Not formally. I’ve known the owners for years and I was telling them their wine list had a gaping hole in it. I just thought I should be constructive if I’m gonna criticize their list. I had a few ideas, but these suggestions have been great.

I wouldn´t have any problems with than - and certainly take some … only I´m 1000s of miles away - so it will not work
Would be interested what it is and why it´ll remain unlabelled …
I’d buy some, too.
If you weren’t a long term contributor to the board, it may be a concern but I don’t see a problem with it. I would buy.
It is not like you are some guy in Burgundy that taught himself how to make wine by reading ancient tomes.
Jim, just work it out with Todd, I expect it fits with Berserker Business. Sounds great.
Sure
Widely available cheap bright Pinot Noir?
A few years ago, the answer to this question would have been Sam Balderas’s “Samantha Starr” label, but that project seems to have been put on hold.
2013 Laetitia Winery Pinot Noir Estate
I agree that Laetita doesn’t get enough love on this board.
Dollar for dollar, their Brut Rose sparkling pinot might be the single best value in the entire USA.
Chris, perhaps I missed it, but what kind of restaurant is it?

(in a good way). I’d be into a case or two. Sounds great!
