And…i’m not into port/Bordeaux, so not British…

Just lessons learned from experience, I think. Like most of us, I had little knowledge of what age could add to RB when I started…and assumed that a decade added plenty. Then…I realized it didn’t. I’m just glad I didn’t drink things up and that I have plenty of “left overs”…though I look at them as treasures, not “leftovers” in the sense of re-heated food or scraps.

And, consistent with this education, I stopped buying wine in 2007…as I realized (or my wife made me realize) that I had the seeds of lots of great wine experiences…and, maybe, not time to pollinate any more.
