I think you’re right Don. I went for what’s known as big five ,but do regret it now, especially for not including Remoissenet, which is thriving under new management.
How about Faiveley and Leroy.
Agreed, and Henri Boillot as well. Le Moine’s volume is too small to be in the same category with the others.
I recently did a Burgundy tasting series, once a week for six weeks. Bouchard is one of the easiest to find in Florence, so I probably haven’t tasted enough of the rest, but Bouchard had the best wine or the second best wine EVERY time, and we tasted 6 or 8 each night. Their Bonnes Mares was one of my favorites. Here were some of the others we tasted:
Domaine Moreau Naudet
Domaine Jean Marc Morey
Domaine Thenard
Latour
Domaine Michelot
Domaine Parent
It seems to me that your result is no surprise-Bouchard is certainly the best source out of that selection.

You should probably have included Bichot and Remoissenet as well. I prefer both to Chanson and Latour.
How about Faiveley and Leroy.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Next time I do this I will include all the houses that you mention. It’s too late to do it now.
Still not a single vote for Chanson
