What's the average price of wine in your cellar?

Yikes!! Mine was $87…didn’t think it would be so high and would prefer it not to be so

Cost = $50 / Value = $63. I don’t expect that to change much over time. Just hope my bottle count goes down!

$55.84 based on value
$45.27 based on price

Ugh.

I don’t know. I could look at CT, but it would be inaccurate as I don’t have all the purchase prices entered. My guess would be in the ~$45-$50 range.

How do you get it to show cost and not value?

It shows both, at the bottom. I used value for mine

just divide those numbers by your bottle count both in stock and pending

For some reason mine just shows value, not cost.

You need to go to Display Settings and you can choose Cost, Valuation, both or neither.

Thanks. Cost is $57 a bottle and value is $72.

$220 . . . too much! =(

Whew…did my calc without pending included. Now my average is down to $47.76. WhoooHooo…time to back up the truck. [snort.gif]

DUDE! WTF!

@Todd: I’m not clear on your response to J Wei. Is that WTF as in “DUDE, WTF do you mean too much? I only WISH my collection averaged out at $220 a bottle!” or as in “DUDE, WTF is with spending that much on an average bottle of wine? Do you use Yquem as your mouthwash when you brush your teeth or something?”

Cost $58, value $141

Yes.

“Yes” to what buddy? The former or the latter? haha

YES!

What about all the bottles that don’t have a value assigned to them? Won’t that screw up the average value calculation? Or am I the only one with that problem?

$70. 'Twas lower at about $40 a few years ago, but then I started collecting Burgundy.
