Definitely a ‘68 if it was good.
I attended a tasting 20 years ago of BV Georges Latour going back into the 50s. The 1968, 1970, and 1974 were the stars of the show.
At this point, it can be whatever vintage you want it to be. And if it was drinking great, it served its owner well after so many years. The 1968 was iconic, also very impactful year in the US for those who remember it.

Was the bottle any good?
Amen, brother!
Yes, the bottle showed well. My friend thinks he has one more somewhere in his cellar. Perhaps it will have the neck label, or a date on the bottom of the cork. I am hoping it is a 68 since it is my birth year, and there doesn’t seem to be many good wines from that year.
Here is a 1968 with pic for $100
Seems too cheap, but maybe worth a phone call?
They have all kinds of cheap ancient wines actually. Has anybody heard of these people?
The about us page is a 404 error, so not a great starter.
Facebook says San Jose, but nothing appears to be active so looks best to steer clear.
Hmmm…definitely seems too good to be true, ha! I dont see much feedback about them but Chat said the following:
Legolys Wine Store has raised numerous concerns about its legitimacy, according to several online resources. Shoppers report issues with orders not being fulfilled, lack of customer support, and no physical address or phone number for the store, which are typical signs of potentially fraudulent sites. Many customers also highlight difficulties in reaching the company or obtaining refunds, which can be common red flags for online scams.
Looking at the price tag it is possible the number on the upper left indicates when it was received and/or priced in the shop. So 1975 would be when it was received or priced.
Also, having had a small number of BV GL from 1960-1979, I can say that some of those lesser vintages can surprise you .
Shouldn’t this be “add,” not “subtract”? I’m not a nuclear energy, so I am probably missing something…
Subtract or add depending whether talking about harvest year or age.

Got it!
