What Vermouth are you drinking/mixing?

I looked for a distinct vermouth thread and couldn’t find one.

I typically drink what I call un-Negronis (1 part white Vermouth, 2 parts dry gin). I’ve got a few Vermouth and gins to adapt the drink to the situation (e.g. my Xmas version is Guerra Reserva Blanco with XII gin.

But since I’ve been in France, I’ve fallen in love with the Carlo Alberto Riserva Bianco di Torino!

If I’ve missed the Vermouth thread, please let me know and I’ll ask to merge!

Sunbreak is my sweet vermouth for Manhattans/Negronis/Boulevardiers. Bought originally on BerserkerDay and multiple repeat customer. Fantastic small lot artisan vermouth from Oregon.

I call this a martini

Dolin Dry

(I also use it in cooking sometimes instead of dry white wine)

As well you should. It’s an ongoing joke with a friend.

I believe the actual accepted name is: disproportionate sweet Martini served in a lowball glass .

Next week, stay tuned for my favorite rhum for my un-Cuba Libre (actual accepted name = rhum in shotglass).
