What natural wine did you open today?

Not from bottle - going to get mine next month.

I’m around if you need someone to experiment on :joy:

Bastian Wolber Entre Nous
A friends and family cuvée, aged in one barrel for a year or so. A few bottles seem to have made it to the market though. A hint of bitter orange, quite classy, fruity and fresh with a complex finish.
(This was a gift).

Le Petit Domaine de Gimois
Rouge de Causse, 2021

Makes a very raw impression, yet immensely enjoyable! Crunchy fruit, a hint of VA, subtle tannin, and some exotic spice and dried herbs de Provence on the finish. Very successfully balances being assertive and a bit wild without becoming disjointed.

Not today, but I had this one yesterday. An orange wine of Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer and Riesling. Very nice, though I did forget to note the producer.

Nicolas Jacob G 2021 Gamay

Light ruby, slightly cloudy, very light nose, strawberries and a bit of yeast funk. Easy drinking fruity style. Not as serious as the domaine wines by some distance.

Arnaud Lopez Lazard 2022.
Quite dense punchy fruit. Much cleaner than the 21. Dark fruited and will benefit from some time.
