I guess you can’t believe everything you read on the Internet. I will check mine.
The bottles I got from Rare Wine have the same disgorgement as yours but were released in '19. I have bottles that just arrived from the UK that I will check after lunch.
Champagne Mailly L’intemporelle 2014
3 x 2007 Cristal Rose
That’s great news as I haven’t had one in a year and maybe they are finally starting to open up.
Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese 2019
…. Annnnd so much for my resolution to give the credit card a break after berserker day!

I will write up notes in a separate post with pictures in the Champagne thread but we had the '02 Late and Original release at lunch in the city today with friends and the Late was a bit advanced, Original was drinking well. I checked the UK bottles that I have and those are also Sept '12 disgorgement but Feb '19 release.

2001 Filliatreau Saumur VV - seems like a library release from Dressner?
2020 Cathiard Bourgogne Dames Huguette - trying to figure out if I have any love for Cathiard. I hated the 19 of this but I believe in second chances!
Must be. I was at the winery in 2010 and they offered for tasting current releases and the 1995 and 1996. Bought each for drinking in the rental apartment.
I’ll take all your 19 Cathiard off your hands!
Some of my favorite ‘value’ Bords, though I don’t feel like I am drinking anything that is 2nd best, beautiful and reliable reds for any occasion:
3 x 2019 D’Armailhac
4 x 2019 Sociando Mallet
Also was offered the 2019 George Glantenay 1er Santenots for $56 via a secret handshake deal. Its a 19 red burg, research here shows Don Cornutt has posted some very positive notes about the Domaine, and the price was well below the WSP average. We shall see!
What didn’t you like about it - the oak? It’s not a shy wine in that regard. I brought the 20 DH to a lunch a month or so ago and quite liked it (though the blind calls were mostly not Pinot, lol).
Exactly that it did not remind me of Pinot at all…thought sort of overripe strawberry grenache…
I think that’s mostly the oak - it takes a bit to settle down. Drinking Cathiard young can be more oak than wine sometimes.
